Frequently asked questions

Before beginning a sale, South Australian business owners often ask about Nash Advisory’s process and how we deliver results.

How do I sell my business in Adelaide with Nash?

Selling a business in Adelaide or rural South Australia starts with preparation. Nash Advisory works with business owners to collate all information before running a structured 9-step process. We create competition by engaging Adelaide buyers, as well as interstate and global investors.

Does Nash Advisory have an Adelaide office?

We don’t maintain a permanent Adelaide office, but our directors regularly work with South Australian clients. Meetings are often conducted via secure video calls, and we frequently travel to Adelaide for workshops, site visits, and negotiations. This ensures South Australian business owners receive the same director-led, hands-on service as those in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Can Nash help me value my South Australian business before selling?

Yes, valuation is the foundation of every campaign we run. We review financials, adjust for one-off items, and benchmark against comparable deals in South Australia, nationally and globally. This gives you a defensible range to guide your decision-making and attract serious buyers. For more details, explore our business valuations service to understand the importance of financial models.

What makes Nash different from others?

Unlike brokers who often focus on small business transactions, Nash Advisory specialises in mid-to-large business sales. Every deal is director-led, highly strategic and supported by detailed financial modelling, buyer research and global outreach. South Australian owners benefit from our hands-on approach, senior team and structured process. Learn how we approach divestment and capital raising for clients.

Can Nash connect Adelaide owners with investors, not just trade buyers?

Absolutely. Many South Australian owners are interested in partial exits, growth funding or succession solutions. Nash Advisory works with private equity firms, family offices and management teams to explore MBOs, MBIs, and other structures. This provides flexibility — whether you’re stepping back fully or keeping equity for future upside.

How does Nash manage buyer questions during sale?

We help you prepare for buyer questions and handle Q&As securely through our data room. This reduces disruption and keeps the process controlled. Buyers often ask about long-term contracts, customer concentration and regulatory approvals. Our team helps craft accurate, consistent responses. Read our article on the top 6 questions buyers ask to see what to expect.

What industries does Nash Advisory specialise in across South Australia?

We work across all industries, with our directors working across sector specialisations rather than specific locations. Our directors bring experience in each area to target the most relevant buyer groups.

Can Nash coordinate with my lawyers and accountants in Adelaide?

Absolutely. We collaborate with your South Australian legal, tax and accounting teams. This ensures alignment, reduces delays, and allows each adviser to focus on their area of expertise while we manage the overall sale process.
